The
pumper truck, commonly known as an engine, is one of the
first vehicles to arrive at a call. This engine carries
all tools and hose necessary for fire suppression,
forcible entry and overhaul operations. The Pump Truck
holds 750 gallons and can pump 1500 gallons per minute (GPM). It accommodates
six firefighters. |

2001 Pierce Dash 2000
Station 1
The Pierce Dash carries hose, water
and tools to a fire. The pump on the truck can deliver
2000 GPM which is more than enough to extinguish
most fires. The tank holds 750 gallons. It also has the capability to dispense foam
for hard to extinguish petroleum based fires. It
accommodates eight firefighters. |

The
Pierce Lance Chassis also known as the Ladder
Truck is equipped with a 100-ft
aerial platform. It can pump 2,000 GPM and accommodates
six firefighters.
